Widely regarded as the crowning masterpiece of The Lady and the Unicorn series, À Mon Seul Désir is the sixth and most enigmatic tapestry in this celebrated cycle of medieval French art. Woven in Flanders around 1500, the series is among the greatest achievements of European textile craftsmanship and is preserved today in the Musée de Cluny in Paris.
 
The composition depicts a noble lady gracefully placing a jeweled necklace into a richly adorned casket, accompanied by her attendant.
